Does Shovra use AI to modify or regenerate my designs?
No. This is the most important thing that sets Shovra apart from every other AI mockup tool. Your screenshots are placed into mockup frames exactly as they are. We never run your images through a generative model. Every pixel, every color, every font, every detail stays exactly as you designed it. The output is always identical no matter how many times you run it.
What does Shovra actually do?
The AI reads and understands your screens. It figures out which screenshots belong together, how to group them into logical sections, and how to place each one into the right mockup frame within your case study. Think of it as a very smart layout engine: it does the thinking and organizing, but never touches the content of your images.
Can I really upload all my screens at once?

How long does it take to generate a case study?

Can I mix web, mobile, and tablet screenshots in the same case study?
Yes. This is one of the things Shovra does that no other tool handles well. Upload your web, mobile, and tablet screenshots all at once in a single batch. Shovra reads each screen, understands the type of device it belongs to, and arranges them into meaningful combinations. What are optional AI features and how much do they cost?
Optional AI features are enhancements you can apply to individual mockups after they're generated. For example, Auto Background Change, which replaces the mockup background with an AI-generated scene that matches your design's tone. Each optional AI feature costs +2 tokens per mockup you apply it to. They're always opt-in: if you don't use them, you pay nothing extra beyond the base 10 tokens per mockup.
Do I need Figma, Photoshop, or any other design tool?
No. Shovra is fully standalone. Export screenshots from any design tool. Figma, Sketch, Framer, or even device screenshots. Upload them to Shovra, and get a complete case study back. No plugins, no subscriptions to other tools, no manual mockup placement. Export directly from Shovra in PNG, JPG, or WebP.
Do tokens expire?
Tokens are valid for 12 months from your purchase date. There's no monthly subscription. If you build your portfolio in January and come back in August for a new project, your remaining tokens are still there. Unused tokens expire after the 12-month window.
What happens if I run out of tokens mid-project?
If you're on the Portfolio plan, you can top up at any time — anywhere from 500 up to 5,000 extra tokens — without buying a new plan. If you're on Starter or Studio, you can purchase a new pack, or upgrade your plan and only pay the difference. Your existing case studies and history remain fully accessible regardless of your token balance.
